PQube 3v Embedded Compliance Reports

NEW! (with firmware 3.6.0)

Embedded Report sample Graph (generated by PQube 3v)

Your PQube 3v computes a compliance pass/fail criteria, based on recordings of voltage magnitude, Flicker PLT, frequency, THD, harmonics and unbalance over a report period.

The report is generated every day at midnight, and every week on at Sunday midnight (a week is actually the recommended EN50160 evaluation period for compliance).

The graphic report summarizes the information in one picture, displaying a pass/fail status for each of the parameters.

Note: see IEC 61000-4-30 Ed3-2015 for a complete description of the method to evaluate the parameters (aggregation over 10min, over 10s…).

The pictures below shows 2 examples of EN 50160 compliant and non compliant reports. Fail status comes with a RED indication, PASS status shows with GREEN indication.

The report also provides a visual indication on where the compliance limit is (100% line) and how close/far the parameters the PASS criterion: the compliance margin.

Power Disturbances

When your PQube 3v records an event, it places files on your SD card (and optionally emails them to you). Your PQube 3v generates summary files, GIF picture graphs, and .CSV spreadsheet files that provide much more information.

PQube 3v automatically generates and sends you pictures (GIF) files.
GIF files can be viewed as pictures within any browser and can be inserted in Presentations (e.g. Microsoft PowerPoint, Prezi,..) and Documents (e.g. Microsoft Word) or Spreadsheets (e.g. Microsoft Excel)
Waveform Graph  |  CSV (ASCII) waveform data files (generated by PQube 3v)
The waveform graphs show you the detailed shapes of the instantaneous voltage and current waveforms.
This is useful when you are looking for specific details, at the millisecond level. Your PQube 3v measures all of the waveforms at 512 samples per cycle, but to graph a longer duration, you can choose to record fewer samples per cycle if you prefer (the measurements will not be affected).
RMS Graph  |  CSV (ASCII) RMS data files (generated by PQube 3v)
The RMS graphs show the cycle-by-cycle true RMS values of the voltage and current, updated every half cycle, and they also show the frequency. This is useful when you are looking at more general characteristics of the event, at roughly the one-second level, especially if you are interested in the available energy.
CSV spreadsheet files are plain ASCII. They can be read in a text editor, and imported in any spreadsheet program (e.g. Microsoft Excel).
The files contains the full numerical measurement data of the voltage conducted emissions
CSV Files
The CSV files are useful if you want more detailed data, and the ability to sort individual recordings and customize your own graphs.
The event summary files give you all the critical data on an event. Each file format contains the same information, it is just formatted differently for different applications.
.HTM files
Very user friendly and open automatically with any web browser (just double-click them)
.TXT files
Easy to read. Universal
.XML files
Easier for a computer to read than the other formats.
Consider using this file if you are building an automated monitoring system.

2kHz-150kHz Conducted Emissions

When your PQube 3v records an event, it places files on your SD card (and optionally emails them to you). Your PQube 3v generates summary files, GIF picture graphs, and .CSV spreadsheet files that provide much more information.

GIF picture files can be opened by any picture program. You don’t need any special software. You can also place GIF Graphs directly in Windows PowerPoint® presentations, Microsoft Word® reports, and so on.
GIF picture
The 2 kHz-150 kHz range voltage conducted emissions, captured at a major laboratory building. The start and end hours of operation of the lab are clearly identifiable, and there is a typical frequency signature around 88 kHz and 100 kHz.

CSV Spreadsheet files contain all of the same information that the GIF Graphs do. It is a standard file format and so it can be opened with almost any spreadsheet program, including Excel®.

Trend CSV Spreadsheet
The CSV Spreadsheet files are useful if you want more detailed data, and the ability to customize your own graphs.

Other disturbances: earthquakes, DC supplies, and more

When your PQube 3v records an event, it places files on your SD card (and optionally emails them to you). Your PQube 3v generates summary files, GIF picture graphs, and .CSV spreadsheet files that provide much more information.

GIF picture files can be opened by any picture program. You don’t need any special software. You can also place GIF Graphs directly in Windows PowerPoint® presentations, Microsoft Word® reports, and so on.
Seismic Disturbance
A small earthquake, captured by a PQube 3v with an ENV2 EnviroSensor®‘s X-Y-Z accelerometer.
DC Monitoring
Disturbance on a 380 VDC supply, caused by a brief AC power interruption
High Frequency impulse recording  |  Download data files (generated by PQube 3v)
A PQube 3v captures a high-frequency impulse, caused by switching a nearby inductive load. Recorded at one million samples-per-second simultaneously on four channels (four million samples-per-second on one channel is user-selectable, too).

Mechanical Shock
A tiny mechanical shock — in this case, an operator’s rolling chair bumping into a sensitive semiconductor tool — captured by a PQube 3v with an ENV2 EnviroSensor®‘s X-Y-Z accelerometer.
