Industrial Power Corruptor

PSL's Industrial Power Corruptor generates bad quality power, reliably and repeatedly.
Use an IPC to test sensitive systems, making sure your design will work when it is installed.

These are the best instruments for complying with SEMI F47, SEMI E6, IEC 61000-4-11, IEC 61000-4-34, and other international standards.

Creates voltage sags, swells, and interruptions for testing industrial equipment immunity

Use to test equipment rated at up to 200 amps. The standard generator for equipment certification: SEMI F47, IEC 61000-4-11, IEC 61000-4-34

Built-in 29-channel digital oscilloscope recorder. Optional power flow recorder for SEMI E6.

Simple and Intuitive Disturbance controls

Amplitude, duration, angle of sags can be adjusted manually. Or you can select one of the many built-in standards.

The “test margin” IPC button lets you select a design margin for your testing. Once you’re set, just arm and fire the event

AC power comes through the left, and goes out at right to the load

Just break a power cable, and insert the IPC – with standard accessories, it can accommodate wires from 18AWG to 00

Every IPC works with single-phase, three-phase delta, and three-phase-Wye (star) systems

Exclusive safety features

Available only in the Industrial Power Corruptor – user-adjusted trip current (left), and knob-selected disturbed phase, optimized for SEMI F47, IEC 61000-4-11, and IEC 61000-4-34

Another safety feature

Critical switches have mechanical shields, preventing accidental operation. And any current flowing through any of the IPC earth connections (not shown) trips the main circuit breaker – another safety feature

Modular and Customizable

The IPC is highly modular, making repairs and upgrades easy. The Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) module is highlighted at left. This module uses 1200 volt, 600 Amp bipolar transistors to perform precision power transitions

Voltage Sag Generator Highlights & Uses

  •  Voltage dips
  •  The IPC create sags/dips, swells, interruptions on 100 V – 480 V systems, at up to 480 volts and up to 200 Amps continuous
  •  Evaluate the response of industrial equipment to power disturbances
  •  Measure energy consumption at all stages of a process or cycle
  •  Fully compliant with SEMI F47, IEC 61000-4-34, IEC 61000-4-11
  •  Design and test improvements for equipment
  •  Re-engineer process flow to optimize energy use
  •  Certify compliance with a range of industry, domestic and international standards
  •  Microprocessor and semiconductor manufacturing
  •  Robotics
  •  Continuous process manufacturing (biotech, automotive, plastics)
  •  Elevator and other large building controls
